About Full Court Buckets

Full Court Buckets is an independent basketball site covering the WNBA and the international women's game. The site publishes news, game recaps, standings, and player profiles with season statistics.

What we cover

Ryan Moalemi runs Full Court Buckets. He comes up with the stories, edits every one, and uses AI tools to help draft them. Here's how that works.

Where the numbers come from

Full Court Buckets gathers its own game data and verifies it against official box scores. When a recap cites a box score, the page links to it. Player statistics come from WNBA season averages and game records stored for each profile. Standings are rebuilt from the league table the site already cites, and the standings page names that source.

Photos on team pages are credited to the photographer, with a link to the Wikimedia Commons file and its license. Player pages that use a portrait say so in the caption. The portrait is an AI-generated editorial illustration, not a photograph.

Who edits the site

Ryan Moalemi has been writing internet content since 2001. He started sports writing in 2026 after being impressed by Angel Reese in a WNBA game. He writes original content himself, and he also edits AI-assisted drafts. He hopes Full Court Buckets helps bring new eyes to the movement. The author page lists his title as Editor.

Corrections

When a page is wrong, we correct it. Email the page address and what needs fixing to hello@fullcourtbuckets.com.

A correction note should name the page and the mistake. For example, send the address of a player page and the stat that does not match the season table on that page.

Independence and advertising

Full Court Buckets is not affiliated with or endorsed by the WNBA, its teams, FIBA, or any player. The site is independently funded by its founder, Ryan Moalemi. No advertiser or outside party has any say in which games, players, or teams we cover.
